A very busy day for us today, finishing off with a short and picturesque ferry hop to my next viewing.
I had arranged to meet the owner outside the marina on a splendid still day.
The owner is a known character here in the Algarve having been in the industry for
many years.
As an experienced marine surveyor there has been a lot of thought and effort put into this Sadler rebuild. Built in 1981 by Sadler Yachts this fin keel example has a beam of over ten feet which provides significantly extra space in the cabin for such a short vessel. The joinery is a credit to the current owner who has spent many years designing and re-fitting to a very high standard. The yacht comes with a number of engine spares plus all sorts of bits and pieces. She was professionally rewired in 2003, with the refit comes one year old mainsail, sacrificial anode has also been replaced.
