Solid hand-laid fibreglass construction. The fibreglass superstructure is balsa cored to achieve maximum strength and rigidity. The decks incorporate a non-slip surface. The interior module provides an extensive network of sections adding strength to the hull. It also creates excellent below berth stowage areas which are completely separate from the hull, providing clean and dry storage. The hull and superstructure are fastened and fibreglass bonded together. the hull is a V design, ensuring economical and efficient performance. The full length moulded spray rails keep the boat dry and induce "lift" thus aiding performance. The hull has a keel and tunnel arrangement to aid maneuverability and stability at low speeds.

Broker's Comments

The Shadow 26 has classic looks combined with racy, sleek lines. Ideal for cruising the inland waterways system with her specially designed hull which gives low speed manoeuvrability, with the propellor and rudder protected by a skeg.

This boat can be built to order, available as a cabriolet or hard top, with a variety of engines (from 35 to 50hp) and quality upholstery chosen by the customer from a range of over 30 fabrics.

She is available with a host of welcome extras, such as bow thruster, VHF radio, 240v generator and inverter, to name but a few.

Built to a very high standard with comfortable, all weather cruising in mind she is a very spacious, well appointed aft cockpit cruiser. Very careful thought has been given to storage, with cupboard, shelves and lockers in abundance.

The forward double berth can be left made up or converts to a very comfortable, large L shaped sofa whilst the second double is converted from the dinette which has been raised to allow all round vision when seated.

The aft cockpit lends itself to alfresco dining and entertaining and the fully upholstered helm and mates seats make cruising comfortable. If you were to choose the hard top version it would be supplied with a large, fibreglass constructed sun hatch and cover, alloy framed safety glass to the front and side windscreens. Both versions are fitted with two windscreen wipers and extending stainless steel canopy rail.
