Broker's Comments

This particular Sparkman & Stephens She 36 is truly unique. Originally the hull was moulded in 1976 and then stored in a dry barn and forgotten about following the death of the original owner. Discovered several decades later she has been professionally fitted out and rigged to an exceptionally high specification and then commissioned in 2006. Bespoke solid teak timber furniture, special race quality mast and navigation equipment and the very best of fixtures, fittings and materials have been used throughout the vessel. Truly no expense has been spared to deliver an outstanding and exceptional example of this classic yacht. The She 36 design is universally known to be a pleasure to sail and has proved this in various offshore races including the notorious Fastnet. The current owner sails her single handed and is happy to confirm how light and responsive she is to helm. The only way to fully appreciate the superb attention to detail, the extensive inventory of equipment and the beautiful finish and presentation of this unique She 36 is to make a personal appointment with the broker to visit her.
