Step aboard this delightful Shetland 640. These boats were designed for river and coastal cruising and provide basic but comfortable accomodation for two people in 2 single berths in the cabin (which can be converted to a double), 2 smaller berths are provided in the cockpit. She has a sink, a cooker and galley workspace. She also has an enclosed heads compartment and she has a number of lockers and hanging space for clothes.
The large cockpit area is ideal for sunbathing or of course a spot of fishing, especiallly here on the Norfolk Broads.
She has 2 batteries, 1 for the engine and the second for lights etc. The cockpit cover is in new condition, and the boat is ready to cruise. The frugal Yamaha 4 stroke outboard is electric start as has covered low hours. She has a current river licence and a boat safety certificate valid untill 2013.
Equiped with a folding windscreen she will pass under the broads bridges including Potter Heigham.
To sumarise, a great starter boat, quality build by a famous builder offered in my opinion at a very fair price.
