On first sight this looks like any other 1973 Shetland, but what a life she had with her present owners over the last 12 years. Yes, she looks her age but she is as dry as a bone having been stored ashore all her life and well cared for. The windows were replaced 6 years ago with high impact perspex the same as used in life boats. She has cruised Lake Windermere, Scotland, Ireland and the French Canals. Whilst cruising the Plymouth area she made an overnight passage, she has also been from Hamble to Cowes in a force 7 there and back. The owner is so impressed with her stability and sea keeping capabilities, thus explaining how well travelled she is. She was featured in the Motor Boat monthly with the owner being suitably proud. The throttle cable has rusted and will need replacing and the steering gear needs freeing, other than this she is ready to travel again.
