Broker's Comments

The Shipman 28 is a justifiably popular family cruiser/racer. During its production, the reputation of the boat being seaworthy, fun, easily-sailed and competitive in races led to sales of over 1300 in total. An active class association arranges competitive class racing in Ireland.
The boat was purchased by the current owner as a boat in need of some repair work and major TLC. Having undertaken an expansive program of works during the last 12 months the boat is now presented to the market, ideal for family cruising or short-handed sailing with good performance easily achievable. This boat is well-worth an early visit as she is a fine example of her size and class of yacht.
