Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a Sigma 33c in very well presented condition. Stepping onboard I was met with a clean and presentable yacht that clearly has had care, attention and money bestowed on her. In fact the current owner tells me something in the region of £15,000 has been spent between 2005 and 2007 including engine, mast, standing rigging and nav gear. She has been wintered ashore every year by the previous owner and was laid up ashore between 2007-2009. About 450 of the Sigma 33’s were built, until production ended in the early 1990s. 'Practical Boat Owner' describe the design as ".... an excellent fast cruiser", and 'Sailing Today' said the design was ".... fast, stable, and of course, a pleasure to sail".
Their heavy weather ability was proved early on as two survived the 1979 Fastnet race. I recommend an early viewing as these are popular yachts. Appointments to view should be booked in advance and are available 6-days a week
