However, this boat has had its' rig modified in order to reduce the sail area. It is part of a fleet of Sigmas that were used by sailors of all abilities and so this change makes the boat easier to handle. This is a reversable modification which will enable the boat to perform to its' original design specifications.
This boat is one of six, which are for sale as a fleet also. There is a RIB and all the foulies and life jackets are part of the inventories. This makes this package perfect for anyone looking to set up a racing fleet for a club, or as a commercial venture.
The Sigma 8 has been designed to allow 6 people to sleep on-board. This boat has been stripped right down for racing, and so the creature comforts are minimal. This boat will give all who sail her the chance to experience sailing that is fun and competitive. Next step, Volvo 70s!!
This boat has been viewed and photographed by Miles Booker of Boatshed Sussex. Register or log in to see 26 more photos of this boat. These boat details are subject to contract.
