Broker's Comments

Designed by Rob Humphreys, the Southerly 135 is an ocean going-design with excellent
sea-keeping characteristics. She was the flagship of the Southerly range for many years.
Not having sailed a 135 (although I have enjoyed sailing a 115 many times) I read the reviews to see what the general thoughts were and struggled to find anything negative anywhere. It appears that they do exactly what they were designed to do and with speed, style and comfort. You really won't need to compromise - a boat that will sail fast across the Atlantic but then cruise the Bahamas with the catamarans? Ideal!
Northshore Yachts designed the interiors to owners specifications and so they are all slightly different. The current owner is only the second and he has made some slight modifications above and below decks all of which appear to be carried out to an extremely high standard. The sail plan is now more versatile with the addition of a bowsprit and removable inner forestay and below he has added for instance extra heads venting and a built in dehumidifier to keep her healthly.
This is a really lovely example of a fantastic design. Videos will follow (rain stopped play) and as always please do contact us with any questions
