Broker's Comments

The Southerly 28 is the boat that started the range and only 148 of these were ever built and I can't understand why they ceased in 1984. Her accomodation is excellent for a 28 footer and has features which are still carried on in current Southerly ranges.

This is still as popular as when she was in production , the whole design makes your sailing simple and rewarding even if your short handed, athough she has plenty of room for a crew to move around freely. With a bit of TLC this boat will continue to give plenty of enjoyment for years to come.
