The joy of working for Boatshed is that you can make people’s dreams come true. It may be the sailing boat they always dreamed of sailing into the sunset, or a gin palace so they can pop over to the continent for lunch. It may also be a holiday home; think of waking up to a view of the Rock of Gibraltar and a monkey on your bow, or the smell of salted cod and sardines cooking in the Algarve. I can now add Maldon in Essex to these exotic location with this cracking weekend live-aboard.
It may not have the glamour of the Med, but finding a comfortable and spacious holiday home in Essex for less than £40k, and which has glorious views all round is not something which occurs every day. She has a large living space with living room, connected to the kitchen and with a small dinning room at the stern and a small office at the bow. Steep stairs give access to below decks where there is a good sized bathroom, large forward cabin and a large aft cabin with three single beds. All fixtures and fittings are included accept for personal items. There has not been a recent survey but the hull was checked out last year and the boatyard pronounced it to be in fine order.
