This little TES 550 is really a cruiser in pocket size. Although she has a high freeboard, she displays a very noble behaviour at sea. Under sail she heels over very little and under engine she behaves very stably. The interior design really optimizes the available space, with lots of cubby holes and storage facilities. She has really been designed for short coastal trips where the opening back end of the cockpit facilitates easy access to the water. But she is really capable of much more than that. I have personally sailed this boat across to the Balearics and back (she’s not designed to do that, but with a good weather forecast it is possible), and from my own experience I can confirm that this is a great sailing boat to get started with. Esta pequeña TES 550 realmente es un crucero en tamaño de bolsillo. Aunque tiene un francobordo muy alto, tiene un comportamiento muy noble en el mar. A vela escora muy poco y a motor es muy estable.
