Cheeky Monkey was sailed by Michael Perham across the Atlantic single handed to become the youngest ever person (age 14) to break the world record.

Boatshed.com are working with The Whyte & Mackay Earls Court boat show to auction this famous Tide 28.

A nearly new boat that has a story behind it as well as a part to play in a future world record.

The funds received from this sale will go towards the purchase of a new boat for Michael to hopefully become the youngest person to sail around the world solo!

Comments by Stuart Roy, a Naval Architect and Surveyor include;

The Atlantic voyage itself, plus the loading/unloading operation involved in
bringing the boat back to the UK, has been a useful test on the structural integrity and overall build quality achieved by the Cowes-based boat builders - a test that
"Cheeky Monkey" has passed with flying colours.
