Broker's Comments

Built by Anstey Yachts of Poole to a Canadian design, the Trapper 400 is a lovely looking yacht with fine lines and generous overhangs. She looks designed for speed so her accommodation is not over-generous, especially by modern standards. This particular vessel is simply fitted out, and would benefit from some updating, particularly in the electronics department. A large chart table will compensate for traditionalists, for whom this boat will have ready appeal. She has all that is required of a fast pocket cruiser: with a reputation for being rewarding to sail while possessing perfectly adequate, if not sumptuous, accommodation.
