Broker's Comments

Trapper 500s have a justifiable reputation as good all-round sea-boats. In their time they were at the fore-front of sail cruising too, with accommodation that was generous, coupled with an enviable build quality. The solid construction still shines through, thirty years later. This is a solid, well made boat, with a heavy hull lay-up and lots of wooden trim down below. The cockpit is safe and deep, and the spade rudder, perched right at the aft end, rotates around 360 degrees, for those inclined towards performing party-tricks!
