The 38 Californian Aft Cabin was designed for economical long range cruising with plenty of interior space for all weather use. It is American built and has fiberglass decks -- an advantage compared to many of the Taiwanese trawlers of the era with their leak-prone teak decks. It is the classic aft cabin/tri-cabin style that is popular in the Northwest because of its spacious interior and sleeping accommodations.

Broker's Comments
This American-built fiberglass trawler is powered with fuel efficient and reliable Perkins 160 HP mains. With a roomy aft cabin and lots of interior space, it is a desirable NW live-aboard layout. The owners have customized it to make it a comfortable live-aboard with a full-sized household refrigerator, Espar diesel heat, and lots of custom storage. Recently they have added a nice 8' Livingston with 4 HP Yamaha on Weaver davits, plus a Vacuflush system with 50 gallon holding tank. The interior woodwork surrounding the windows shows evidence of previous leaks - though the leaks have been stopped. Financing options are available - please email or call with questions.
