Broker's Comments

Built by Conyplex of Holland, here’s a solid deck-saloon with classic lines. The hull shape inspires confidence: long fin, with skeg-hung rudder set behind a shaft-driven prop. Build quality is substantial, with wood used in plenty in both the cockpit and the interior. Big windows in the deck saloon make the interior light and airy. The deck-saloon set-up is great for headroom and views of the outside. Unlike some deck-saloons, however, the coach-roof blends into the hull sympathetically, and doesn’t distract from the boat’s purposeful look. Inside, there is storage everywhere. As well as stacks of lockers there is also, unusually, plentiful drawer storage. This is a serious sea-going boat. There is a large forward-facing chart table, with the head of the skipper’s quarter-berth doubling as a seat. No lee-cloths for the saloon berths: there are purpose-built boards under the settee berths that hinge up, turning the seating into secure sea-cots. Alternatively, when in port, the saloon berths can be extended inwards to increase the available berth-width, a clever and practical design touch. A Volvo Penta engine is fitted. I have rarely seen such excellent engine access on a boat of this size: check out the photos. This is a well-made and practical cruising craft, with a lot of potential.
