Broker's Comments

I sold this yacht to the present owner 3 years ago, and he has decided (with regret) that he needs to move to a bilge keeler. This is what I wrote back in 2010:

“A little ship, that is what we have here folks. I took Day Skipper on one of these nearly thirty years ago, and I still hold them high in my affections. This one has had some serious money spent on her – new Yanmar engine in 2007, calorifier, a chart plotter the size of Bournemouth and a brand new genoa in 2008 to name just the major items.”

This still holds good, and the present owner has added some little touches that have turned her into yacht that has come alive and is obviously well loved and cared for.

Down below she is clean and tidy, the upholstery is in tip top condition and she now has a proper cooker, which she didn’t have three years ago. Anyway what a lot of yacht for the money!

Give me a ring here at Boatshed Port Solent, or email me on Ian@boatshedportsolent.com and we’ll go and have a look.
