Broker's Comments

In late 1985 Moody and Bill Dixon came up with the Moody 31 Mark II. How do you tell it apart from a Mark I? Well the main thing is the sugar-scoop stern, and there was an optional extra of a wheel instead of a tiller. The chart table was also forward-facing.

This boat has been well looked after, in the same ownership since 2005, and wintered ashore every year.

Her standing rigging was replaced in 2014, and she has been serviced regularly over the years. I remember when I first saw her about eight or nine years ago – she was the one boat in that particular yard that I blatantly coveted!

I went aboard her for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I wasn’t disappointed! Clean, tidy, airy, clutter-free, this yacht is the epitome of a 31 Mark II, you have simply GOT to come and have a look!
