Broker's Comments

Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a rare to find Tradewind 39. See full details and 61 photos at www.BoatshedDartmouth.com ref number 140547

She was fitted out by Custom Yachts from Blondecell mouldings and launched in 1982. It is likely that only about 10 of the 39’s were built and she is a very good example of the seaworthy, long keel, Tradewind 39 design. Her heavy displacement means she’s a large volume 39 footer with generous stowage for long distance cruising. With wheel steering, vane self steering, cabin heating, a 36hp engine, new teak decks in 2004, and many extras, she represents an excellent option for anyone looking for a blue water cruiser. When I stepped on board teak decks and lots of solid wood below welcomed me. The current owners sailed her to the Canaries, Azores, Caribbean and Azores most of the time with just two crew. This is a must see yacht. Appointments to view should be made in advance with your Boatshed Dartmouth broker Paul.
