The combination of an amazing designer and a top quality builder resulted in this fabulous Wauquiez Amphora. Kim Holman was reknown for creating excellent sailing yachts. Holman's philosophy was straightforward: he did not believe in extremes. Grace, and a rising fore and aft sheer, were his hallmarks. The hull on this vessel looks to have lovely lines. She is very well built and seems to have been very well maintained. She has the added benefit of a bow thruster ensuring mooring up is easy.

Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.
This Wauquiez Amphora is comparable to a Hallberg Rassey in terms of quality of build, performance and blue water cruising capability. The good news is that this level of quality is better value! I loved this boat and felt that the deck was clutter free and easy to get around. The cockpit is nice and deep and is protected by the sprayhood that extends a long way when opened up. This Wauquiez Amphora has cleary been looked after and loved by her current owner. He has owned her since 1990 and cruised to Netherlands, Scotland, Belgium, Ireland, France and of course the UK coast. She handles beautifully and is a fantastic boat for long holidays. She would make an excellent live aboard too with lots of storage space, comfortable berths and lots of sociable space inside and out. Have a look at the video for yourself.
