Broker's Comments

In the early 1990s Westerly underwent one of its periodic commercial hiccoughs, for want of a better expression. Arising Phoenix-like from the ashes, they breathed new life into five of their previous models by enlisting the services of interior designer Ken Freivokh. The result was a more modern take on an already highly-successful range of yachts. The Westerly Regatta 310 was the middle sibling of the five, a development on their popular Tempest model. This example appears to be in decent condition and well equipped. She was re-engined in 2003 and re-upholstered not too long ago. On deck she’s typically Westerly. I like the way the sheet winches are mounted well inboard by the bridge-deck, which saves teetering on the edge when winching on the down-hill side. She has also been converted from tiller to wheel steering, and looks none the worse for it. Down below there are acres of wood, and she looks smart and modern. Accommodation is good, with a giant aft cabin and bags of storage space in lockers all over the place. A quality cruiser available at a most reasonable asking price.
