A fine day yet again, boring isn’t it when the sun shines everyday. A chance for a morning Bica which is a Portuguese coffee, like an expresso strong and tasty, a tad like the boat I plan to view. Built of Welsh steel in 1992 and commissioned in June 1993 this is a cutter built by Ray Harris Marine Ltd, Barry South Wales. I am joined in my caffeine experience by the owner who commissioned the boat from his own yard before sailing off to the sunset with wife aboard and a cruise of the Med. The happy couple are now ready to hang up their boots for a retirement on dry land, having spent the past seven years living aboard. The layout and specification is as you would expect bearing in mind the owners previous occupation, including auto helm windvane steering and all sail controls leading back to the protected cockpit, the attention to practical detail is superb with the odd tasteful flamboyancy thrown here and there on the wood panelling. This boat has been loved by the owner/builder all her life.
