Broker's Comments

The Vertue needs no introduction to the discerning yachtsman. Designed by Laurent Giles, this classic has crossed every ocean in the world. She needs no further testimony to her sea going qualities.
This example is built of GRP, she has 6 inches more beam than the original and the coachroof is higher giving standing headroom. She has had an extensive refurbishment which includes new engine, sea cocks serviced, new standing rigging, new headlinings, new upholstery and windows plus a new cooker. Many other items were replaced at the same time. The costs were in excess of £10,000 with receipts available.
The accommodation comprises of a forward cabin with 2 berths, the heads are to starboard with a sink that folds away. Opposite there is plenty of hanging space and cupboards. In the main saloon there is a settee berth with seating opposite. The cooker is fuelled by Bio Ethanol Meths making it much safer and better for extensive cruising.
