Watkins is designed for cruising and great sea keeping ability. It is easyly handled with all lines leading aft and the sail controls near the cockpit. There is standing room outside under the bimini. Lets go for a sail!!

4 Total berths, One nice v style double in master, with 2 settee berths and a port side quarter berth.
Nice standup head with marine syle toilet, with holding tank. Head has shower and portlights with screens. The cabin area is light and airy and all portlights have been resealed and ready for weather. The Galley has a two burner propane stove with oven. There is also a Adler- Barbour cold plate which the owner states works very well. Mirowave oven is a nice touch also. Pressure hot& cold water is avaiable on board. The storage is ample in the galley and in the main cabin area.

Deck gear includes Barient self tailing cockpit winches along with 2 barient deck winches. The traveller is mounted on the bridge deck and has two double rope clutches, all controls lines lead aft to cockpit for ease of operation. The main sail is Dacron with 2 reef points and the Genoa is 135%Dacron on a FF4 cruisind design furler. There is a nice full sized bimini covering the cockpit and is all in ship shape.

The deck has double life lines and the propane stove has an alarm. The owner is leaving all gear on boat to include many dock lines, small inverter for a fan or radio, fuel filters for main engine and fenders and other boat related gear.

The 30 Watkins is a handsome boat and has the equipment needed for a day or a month.The owner states it is an easy boat to sail and will help teach the new owners upon request. The vessel has been maintained, however there is a good chance the bottom needs to be cleaned and painted for the summer use. The yanmar diesel has appox. 350 hours of operation and starts fine and runs smooth. The vessel for it's age has seen good ownership and has been looked after.Windows have been resealed and the cockpit deck has been redone. The owner is leaving for a extended RV vacation and would like to have settled on the boat before he leaves. All respectful offers will be looked at. There is the possibility of a hard bottomed dingy and motor that could be purchased separately at a huge discount to what was paid. There is also a trailer with this dingy.
