The boat is equipped with a Kohler generator which isn't found that often on a boat this size and greatly increases it value. The advantage is being able to run the air conditioning while cruising and enjoying the hot summer days. The generator has its own dedicated battery system. The vessel has a dual 30 amp cords and a battery charger on board. There is also a dual battery switch and one for the house also.

This 28 Martinique was one of the Flagship boats for Wellcraft. The boat was built with pride in craftsmanship. Wellcraft has long been known for their smooth riding hulls and solid construction methods. The 2800 Martinique is no exception.

The cabin area is spacious and has a nice v-berth forward with storage. The cabin has an aft berth for the children. The galley table also serves as a bunk if needed. The galley is very useful with a Microwave, Electric hot plate, hot and cold water pressure water system and deep sink basin. There is ample storage and the solid surface counter tops make this the perfect weekender. There is a vac-u-flush head and plenty of amenities to make you feel comfortable. There is a sound system and the cabin air conditioning is a nice feature too. All from what you would expect from a Wellcraft 28 Martinique.

The boat comes equipped with all the standard features you would expect and the GPS chart plotter by Garmin is a nice extra. This unit will get you to your destination and back. There is also a VHF radio, compass, navigation lights.

The deck is open and very easy to access though a large transom door. There is a nice swim platform on the stern and a fresh water shower to rinse off with. The seating is ample and the vinyl in good shape, but there has been some minor damage to the interior vinyl caused by an intruder. Some of the cushions will need to be recovered for a few hundred dollars. The canvas is in need of replacement. The boat has been in the Florida sun and is in need of a complete detail and compounding. There is large storage area underneath two of the deck seat and a large transom storage area also on the back deck.

One of Wellcraft best sellers. This was one of their flagship boats in 2001, the entire Martinique series was a success for the manufacture and this fine vessel is now ready for a new owner.
Let me start by saying this vessel is in need of some work. The owner has priced the vessel accordingly. The outside of the boat needs to be compounded and buffed out. The canvas needs to be replaced. There is evidence of sun damage to the helm area and this may have to be addressed. I feel that with some elbow grease and a passion to make it right, the new owner could make bring this beautiful vessel back to its original condition. The boat has a nice aluminum trailer also included in this price. This is the deal you have been waiting for don’t pass it up. Please contact Don Murphy at your earliest convenience for a showing.
