Broker's Comments

The fashion these days seems to be to load up your yacht with ever more sophisticated electronics, then to stay in harbour sorting out the problems. Some yachties refuse to leave the marina unless they have more computing power than NASA, and that’s just for a short hop to the nearest waterside hostelry.
Well, if you are of that persuasion this yacht might not interest you. She’s a ‘nuts and bolts’ sort of boat – safe, rugged, sea-kindly – but perhaps lacking in those expensive toys that can give you an excuse not to go sailing when the voltage drops, or the mate spills coffee all over the lap top.
Her sails and rigging are recent, her motor well cared for and pristine, and though a pot or two of varnish wouldn't go amiss in the saloon - well, it would only suffer again in the tropical sun.
Her retired Sea Captain owner found her to be more than adequate (in all respects) when he sailed her to the Caribbean and back, in his seventies, on his own!
