Broker's Comments

The Westerly Centaur remains to this day one of the most popular bilge keel yachts and finds favour with those looking for their first 'big' sailing boat or ‘old timers’ alike. Over 2,500 were built from 1969 to 1984 and they are renowned for being strongly built, with excellent headroom and accommodation for their size and sail well.

This Centaur features the most common B layout with the galley forward on the starboard side. She has been in the same ownership for some ten years and is now looking for a new owner. The topsides look good still and overall she is well presented. The interior and in particular the heads could do with some cosmetic updating but none of this should be beyond the capability of a new owner. There is still plenty of time to get her ready for the 2011 season so now could be your chance to get on the water this year.
