Broker's Comments

With almost two and a half thousand Centaurs built, you can imagine that they come in all degrees of condition. A few are sparkling – many are decrepit. This is a fair example, and seems to be in good order. She is the ‘A’ layout version, with twin quarter-berths and a dinette table arrangement on the port side of the saloon. She retains all the intrinsic virtues of the type, of course: spacious and versatile accommodation, solid construction, substantial scantlings and a sailing-ability that most agree belie her slightly utilitarian looks. Though not shown, an Avon inflatable dinghy and an Evinrude 4HP outboard engine are included in the deal.
