The Westerly Storm is still a popular model. 142 were built between 1986 and 1993. They originally were a One off design geared up to be cruiser racers. They are not good at racing in light winds but in heavy winds they will show the rest of the fleet a thing or two! This is why they have such deep well equipped cockpits. They are sure-footed at sea and make excellent cruisers.

No. of double berths 3
No. of single berths 1
Cabin(s) 3

The accommodation is spacious and the warmth of the joinery creates a lovely atmosphere. The forward cabin is a very good size. The saloon benefits from a settee berth on the portside that converts to a double (as long as you are not too broad in the beam). The galley is to port as you come down the companionway steps and the nav station to starboard. The Aft Cabin provides a generous double berth an is accessed on the portside. There is a decent sized heads on the starboardside aft. Some of the headlinings need some TLC but the majority of the interior of this Westerly is fine.

This Westerly Storm 33 is a very sturdy and capable yacht. She offers very good accommodation with lots of storage space too. The cockpit is deep and exceptionally well laid out for the keen sailor. If you enjoy club racing then she will come into her own in windy conditions. She has generous sized berths below decks and is ideal for a family sure-footed sailor.
