Register with Boatshed to see 44 extra photos of this Wooden 35' motor sailer .
When first built it was described as a Cruiser for sea fishing, a diesel-engined 35-footer with a range of 500 miles.
In placing his order the owner specified a robust boat with a seakindly hull, having a moderately deep draught and easily driven lines. The propellor was to be large enough for trawling to be undertaken.
Originally accomodation was for two with a pipe cot forward for a third person. It was to include a large, self draining cockpit, a shelter for the helmsman, saloon, galley and toilet. The aft cabin was added later.
The current owner has had it two years and cruised the Humber and Yorkshire waterways.
He says it is comfortable to live on and a good safe sea boat.
He is also keen to sell in order to move up to a larger project.
This is a craft of enormous character and it will provide many more years of enjoyable cruising. It will also come with 12 month waterways licence.
