Broker's Comments

This was once a stunning motor Yacht built in 1927 by Dickies of Bangor. Now in need of lots of TLC but still valued at £14k at time of last survey in 2010.
She has 2 Perkins Sabre M65 diesel engines and PRM gearboxes all new in 1998 costing over £20,000.00 excluding labour.
The owner has asked me to convey that they have been regularly serviced.
The boat herself retains all her original features and is a true classic in every sense.
However there is work to be done, I have taken the pictures (28.02.14) as she is without any attempt at tidying her up or making her look better.
Valued at 14k as she was in 2010 and with work done as per reccomendations a value of £30,000 was given. A full exterior and interior restoration would command a value of £45,000 so there is potential not only to enjoy a true peice of history and a genuine, stunning classic but actually recoup your investment when sold.
We have a comprehansive history of this vessel along with original documentation which is fascinating. All invoices and manualls for the engines and gearboxes etc are present.
The owner is now living abroad and is no longer in a position to provide her with the attention she richly deserves.
