Thought to be from the designer Henri DERVIN this boat came from the Parisian yard MARGUERIE founded in 1888 and still in the same family today although now based on the south coast. The yard has constructed both sailing and motor yachts as well as work vessels and has also undertaken restoration work on the three masted Belem (oldest 3 masted vessel in Europe).

One cabin forward with a double bed and a single bunk each side. Functional "U" shaped galley and large WC shower room. Wheelhouse with two side doors a rear access door to aft deck and opening windows so plenty of fresh air and light here. If the cockpit lockers on the large aft deck look more like cupboards in the photo it’s because they were. The open sedan style aft deck was created by removing the aft double cabin and the shower is still in place serving as a deck shower. Access to the flybridge is by a ladder on the port side. A spacious sports cruiser for two with the character and charm.

Broker's Comments

Boatshed Bourgogne is pleased to offer this twin screw wooden motor cruiser for sale. Constructed by the little known but highly respected Marguerie yard that has remained in the same family hands since it’s creation in 1888 !! Removal of the owners aft cabin has sadly reduced the living accommodation to one cabin suitable for a couple (perhaps with young children). On the other hand it has given a large convivial sundeck for entertaining friends so this vessel remains a convivial and fun craft for coastal cruising, though she has already travelled through France on the inland waterway system as well. Bone dry bilges, dual steering, sundeck and fly-bridge A whole lot of useable & practical retro charm for the money.
