Broker's Comments

This 20ft Dauntless 20 (style) is in need of some renovation. She has had a great deal of money spent including a new mast in 2007, new decking by James Case of Wells in 2008 and is sitting on a purpose built trailer constructed in 2008.
She is mahogany on oak, with white painted hull.
There is some immediate remedial work before she can go back to sea, having spoken with the local boatyard they estimate arround £900.00 to replace some timberwork at water level. There is an active Dauntless association , many members have brought these delightfull boats back to sailing life. I am told she was last afloat 2 years ago, so if you have the time and funding she will make a realistic project. Wooden yachts of this style and character are becoming rare, so come and view I am sure you will love her!
