Broker's Comments

This Sea Otter 15m Dutch Barge is now for sale and makes a brilliant London pied-a-terre or a cruising boat for the European waterways. It is currently located in South Dock Marina on a leisure mooring which could be included in the sale.

Sea Otters are a renowned builder for their aluminium hulls that require less maintenance than a steel boat. This 15m model was built in 2004 and is presented in good condition with plenty of works undertaken by the current owner since 2012. The interior has been mostly refitted in that time with a new kitchen and bathroom. It is highly specced with electric lowering roof, generator, bow thruster and a 105HP Vetus engine.

The barge is set up with a master aft cabin that has en suite, separate shower and heads compartments. The large saloon and galley also contains a shower and heads wet room, and the huge seating area in the bow will convert into a second double.

The boat is currently moored in South Dock Marina on a leisure mooring which allows for 365 day usage. The boat can be sold with or without the mooring.

The mooring fees are £8685 per annum.

Hi,
What a shame the owners bought her back from France. If she were still there we’d have viewed and bought her by now, but what with the new tax rules now we’re out of the EU, it’d be mad to buy her in the UK and then have her taken back to France again.
Is she still registered as a French boat or has she always been registered in the UK?
Best wishes,
Leon
