Broker's Comments

Bloodhound once owned by the British Royal family with HRH Prince Philip actively sailing her all through their ownership. She would have followed the Royal Yacht Brittania on their British Isles tours and would have been the boat that both Charles and Anne learnt to sail on. Her history is extremely well documented with an excellent racing record from 1936 to January 1961 when she was bought by HM Queen Elizabeth and HRH Prince Philip.
Her current owners, however, have taken this Classic Yacht and with total dedication rebuilt her to her former glory. The workmanship is incredible and the attention to detail extensive. It was a real privilege to be on board with a great blend of the past and present. The rebuild from the keel up has been painstaking and the result is the rebirth of this famous classic yacht. She is now arguably stronger, more resilient, and more desirable than when she was first built. She is now offered with her rugged offshore characteristics coupled with the more delicate 12 metre original design either way she is ready to race or cruise but will always turn heads where ever she goes. She can be supplied with a MCA Charter Certificate if this is of interest.
