Broker's Comments

This Tela has been owned by the current owner since new, and is professionally maintained and wintered ashore. With her removable thwart (held in place by wing nuts), it is possible to camp on board, the flat floor being approximately 8’ long.
She is easy to tow behind a car and is being sold with her trailer, which offers the convenience and potential cost savings of maintaining and over-wintering her at home, should her new owner choose to do so.
Having been varnished, painted and anti-fouled in April 2015, she is ready to sail!
The Tela was first designed in 1910 and was one of a number of sixteen footers operating as small pilot boats in the Bristol Channel. Reproduced in GRP since 1990, the Tela is equally at home on the Broads or in an estuary. She is easy to handle single-handed, but can comfortably accommodate 3 or 4 people in her spacious cockpit.
