Broker's Comments

The Beneteau Oceanis 311 is the same hull as their First 31.7 and Figaro Solo so you know that her sailing performance will not be too shabby but her comfort level is much better suited to efficient cruising than her racing sisters.

This is the lifting keel version with twin rudders so can crawl up the creeks and take the ground but with the advantage of a deep centreboard for good sailing performance to windward when required.

She's well laid out on deck, clear and uncluttered and with all lines leading aft over the coachroof the cockpit is practical and usable shorthanded or with crew. An electric windlass takes the hard work out of anchoring and the step through transom makes boarding easy and is ideal for swimming off.

The layout below is spacious, the two cabin version allowing generous berths and she is light and clean and appears extremely well cared for. She spends her winters ashore in a good yard so sails are stored off the boat and the engine which has very low hours has been winterised and serviced annually. Summers have been spent predominantly day sailing in the Solent. This is a really nice example of a great family cruiser that's well equipped and ready to sail
