Broker's Comments

Designed by Bruce Roberts, this vessel's hull was built by Ocean Yacht Mouldings in 1987. The yacht was then fitted-out by the owner, who first launched her in 1995. The original completion survey noted that 'this vessel has been finished to a very high standard. She has excellent deck space, a large safe cockpit, good access below decks and a well laid-out liveable approach to the interior has been obtained. The quality of the woodwork is high and the use of different colours and shades of timber give an attractive appearance below decks. The builder has been fortunate in being able to purchase high quality propriety brand fittings, particularly with the rig and deck equipment. This is also evident when compared to professionally finished yachts of a similar type'.

Upon completion of the 1998 ARC the vessel spent the next 18 years in the Caribbean region. She was then inherited by the current owner and was brought home to Scotland in 2016, hence is now for sale as-is, with offers being invited in her current condition.

This vessel is in-need of some work, has high moisture levels in the hull and is therefore being offered as a project. She would be ideal for anyone wishing to complete the work themselves, tailoring it to their own individual requirements. With lots of room and strong ocean-going capability, she offers excellent value on a pound-per-foot basis.
