Broker's Comments

Cardinal Mouldings, who also built the highly regarded Cardinal 26 Yacht, are arguably one of the best builders of this particular craft, the Fastnet 17. A simple, no nonsense day fishing boat which will take you swiftly to the Turbot Bank, drift happily and stably while you 'dangle your tackle', and then whisk you home when you've had enough!
A small and simple cuddy cabin provides the welcome shelter for the non-fisher or for when it rains, as surely it will! One fact, which may intrigue a prospective buyer, is that the engine is a couple of years older than the hull. This is because the owner had a previous but similar craft for which he purchased the present motor. He subsequently purchased this hull from the builder, to which he fitted his motor.
