Broker's Comments

This exciting new addition to our line of brokered yachts. The first Owen Clarke third generation Class 40 Open design. The yacht has completed all of its racing since her launch in 2009 as Mare.De. In 2010 she was chartered by the successful German mini-sailor, but at the time Class 40 rookie, Joerg Riechers. Often racing in podium position, including the last 48hrs of the 2010 Route du Rhum, this fast skipper/boat combination’s best results was a fourth in the Les Sables, Azores, Les Sables race and a frustrating fourth by 27 minutes in the 2011 Normandy Channel Race.
