Broker's Comments

The Nordic Folkboat was originally designed as a clinker built wooden sloop in 1942 by the Scandinavian Yacht Racing Union (SYRU). The first Nordic Folkboat was built in Göteborg in Sweden.
In the late 1960s, a GRP version was design licensed to a few boat builders. This example was built in Canada by Abbott Boats.

And as at 2016, more than 4000 Nordic Folkboats have been built.

This Nordic Folkboat appears to be in first class condition having benefited from an extensive re-fit in 2009. She was surveyed in 2012 and all the surveyor recommendations have been attended to.

She is now looking for a new owner to race or cruise!
