Broker's Comments

The Golden Hind is a design classic and, for some aficionados, nothing else will do. Out of the water, the hull shape looks just right. This example has long bilge plates that allow her to take the ground without resting at too jaunty an angle. She is of composite construction, with a sound-looking GRP hull and the decks and superstructure made from wood. She has a replacement Perkins engine which has done about 600 hours. She appears to be in sound condition and to have been well-looked after. Inside she has storage lockers everywhere, and the extensive use of wood gives her a warm traditional feel. See the headlining and saloon photos to see what I mean. No doubt she would benefit from some updating in the electrical department, but any true Golden Hind fan will see that as an opportunity rather than an impediment.
