Built 1971 launched Feb 1972.
Overall repaint 2014, finish is 2 pot International, underwater sections given precautionary epoxy treatment.
Forward cabin boasts two full size 6ft 4in single berths with infill to create large double.
Lots of opening hatches for ventilation throughout the boat.
Wonderfully large aft cabin, including bookshelves, en-suite heads, large stowage space and seating to port and starboard.
Saloon has controls for hot air blowing diesel heater on port side and an electric pip vector heater under steps. Saloon and aft cabin have pipe vector heaters.

Broker's Comments
Solar 40's are reputable seaworthy vessels. This one received an extensive refit in 2006/7 ready to cruise the world and cruise the world she did returning in 2015. She is still fully equipped, in good condition and ready to go again with a recently new engine and brand new mainsail.
