Broker's Comments

This pretty vessel rightly gets admired. Built in 1986 to a 1937 design, she has a classic integrity coupled with a contemporary build. She is of cold moulded construction with 4 layers of mahogany, epoxy adhesive and external coating giving a very strong hull construction. The deck is sheathed and epoxied marine plywood and altogether is a great compromise between the beauty of a vintage yacht and the simple maintenance of a modern GRP craft.
On a recent passage with 10 knots over the port quarter she managed a good 6 knots. The heavy keel also makes for a comfortable sail.
This vessel has a road trailer which was fully refurbished in 2016 with new axles, wheels, tyres, brakes, bearings and cables. The Tohatsu sail pro outboard is nearly new and designed especially for small yachts. You can take the ground on her long keel and beaching legs. A useful feature is the ability to steeve up her bowsprit when berthing in marinas, so reducing her overall length from 30’ to 22’ 6”
