Broker's Comments

Anybody looking for an average white yacht can stop reading now. This beautiful steel yacht has sailed round the world and looks set to do so again. She has provided a dependable floating home for her current owner for many years. In return he, an engineer by trade, has ensured that she has been properly maintained and equipped with high quality kit. It’s fair to say that when your home has to cross oceans, the belt and braces school of fit-out applies. For example, in addition to the shining stainless steel wind vane self steering gear, she carries not one but two autopilots. If there is no wind to turn the Rutland wind generator, she has enough solar panelling to power the enormous fridge-freezer, with amps to spare in plenty. The hull is beautifully painted, with none of the usual rusty weep marks giving away the truth about the hull material. The entire interior of the hull has been coated throughout with a thick layer of insulation foam, to keep condensation at bay. The cabin boasts a cosy stove, a destroyer-sized chart table and cleverly-designed storage throughout. The cockpit is equipped with new navigation and radar equipment; winches are substantial and plentiful. Although her owner may have retired from circumnavigating the globe, his yacht is ready for more adventures.
