Owner informed me that in 2009 he had rigging inspected and passed as in good condition. The survey included resistance checking the crimpings. The 6 block backstay arrangment has been replaced with wire strap and bottle screw as it makes for easier cruising. The 6 block is safely stowed if the new owner has a different preference.. The Genoa reefing line has been upgraded from 8mm to 10mm and the standard cleating arrangement was replaced with a flexible block and a snap cleat which makes it much simpler to furl. The owners have recently added new sails front and back.

This boat has sailed to the Baltic and Brittany to mention a few places and the owners were impressed during navigating the Alderney Race, commenting that " she sails well we had over 9 knots out of her in the flat waters of the Little Russel of Guernsey in F 5.

Broker's Comments

This Bavaria 37 is fabulously maintained and presented for sale looking in beautiful condition. She has just had a new set of sails fitted too. Her current owners have enjoyed some great cruising over to the French coast and to Holland with her. They are so impressed with the Bavarias that they have another one abroad too. This one is built to the esteemed Lloyds specification and is finished to a very high standard. Spacious, light and airey she is ideal as a family cruiser. This sailing yacht has it all, space for socialising, living accommodation, stowage and above all, is great to sail.
