The Bayliner 3888 was designed to be an affordable and efficient two cabin, two head motoryacht. Nearly 1,000 editions of this 38 footer were sold during its 12 year production run and the layout/features barely changed. This is a clear sign of a thoughtful, practical motoryacht design offered at a very competitive price.

The large cockpit of the 3888 is perfect for fishing or lounging in the sun in deck chairs. Enter the saloon through the sliding door and there is a wet bar area to the starboard side with sink, ice maker, built-in blender and bottle storage. On the portside there is a U-shaped settee with adjustable table. The lower helm is on the starboard side - it is equipped with most of the navigational electronics and has a very nice, adjustable helm chair. Forward and down from the lower helm is the galley with teak and holly sole. The galley is equipped with a propane stove/oven, separate fridge/freezer, microwave, dual stainless steel sink, coffeemaker, and plenty of storage. The guest stateroom is on the portside across from the galley. It has a queensize bunk, hanging locker and a door to access the guest head. Also accessible through the saloon, the guest head has a manual toilet, sink and a tub/shower. The forward stateroom has a queen size berth and a private head.
6'6" headroom in the saloon.
3 burner gas cooker
Equipped with both upper and lower steering stations, this 3888 can be operated comfortably in any weather. There is excellent visibility from the flybridge, plus back-to-back seating for four guests. The upholstery shows normal wear and tear for its age.
