  • Each auction lasts for a set period of time, please check the catalogue for details.
  • The boat auction catalogue is launched 7 days prior to the auction going live.
  • Once the auction starts you can now place a bid on a boat. Each bid must increase by a minimum amount set individually for each boat.
  • All bidding is conducted online and no personal identification will be shown and all data is stored securely.
  • If you are outbid you will receive a notification either by email or text.
  • To ensure that everyone has a fair chance of placing the winning bid, the auction end time will automatically extend by 10 minutes when a bid is placed within the closing stages of the auction, this will continue until no more bids are received for 10 minutes.
  • Once the auction has ended, the winning bidder will be contacted by a Boatshed broker to discuss the Sale and Purchase Agreement, deposit and recommend that you have a survey.
  • The winning bidder is highest bid, which has met or exceeded the reserve price.
  • Once the offer and terms has been confirmed the purchaser (you) will need to pay a 10% deposit of the purchase price to Boatshed.com within 5 working days. This acts as a holding deposit which places the boat under offer so no other offers can be made or accepted, or any other viewings arranged.
  • The purchaser (you) agrees to sign a standard Sale and Purchase Agreement and any inspections and professional surveys must take place within 21 days of signing. Failure to do this will result in the loss of the Bid deposits. Contact us for a sample agreement.
  • Each boat can be surveyed and sea trialled before you make the decision to purchase. Deposits are refunded in full if the deal does not go ahead.
