An absolutley delightfull and original Broom Robb.
One of four built by C.J. Broom in the early 1960's and designed by Mr A. Robb.
This boat is in remarkable condition and is an absolute credit to its current owner. No expense has been spared keeping her in fine original condition and viewing is most recomended to appreciate such a fine vessel . She is bright and airy, with quality fittings and beautiful varnished woodwork. She has a large cockpit with a fitted canopy again in excellent condition. She has a current river licence and a boat safety certificate valid until 2013.
The owner has much information regarding the boat, she was one of 6 built in the early 1960,s for private owners, these boats were not for the hire fleets hence the extra quality and finishing detail. She still has the original light fittings and a delightful gate leg table in the cabin.
We also know that the previous owner enjoyed her for over 20 years and had her maintained by Landamores in Wroxham. Interestingly she is now kept in Horning in a private quay, she even has a full winter cover.
To summarise, if you apreciate quality, if you love wooden boats, this Broom Robb is rare and very desirable indeed.
